From 9 to 14 April, Lisa Streich is celebrated in Konserthuset Stockholm's Composer Weekend 2024 including the world premiere of her trumpet concerto MEDUSE.

Three world premieres in 2023 by Lisa Streich: In February, the Swede celebrated the premiere of her work FLÜGEL at the Elbphilharmonie Visions festival. This was followed by BALLHAUS, which was created for Staatsoper Hannover as part of the "more than music" series. In June of this year, Streich's work ISHJÄRTA will be premiered by the Berliner Philharmoniker.

We are very pleased to announce that Lisa Streich has signed an exclusive contract with Ricordi Berlin. Having supported the rising Swedish composer in its ricordilab programme, the publisher will be representing her wide-ranging catalogue of works for orchestra, ensembles and chamber music.

Great works cast a shadow ahead – which in this case, due to the pandemic, has become quite long: The Musikfest Berlin 2021 finally sees a number of long-awaited world premieres featuring Heiner Goebbels, Olga Neuwirth, Enno Poppe and Lisa Streich.

Swedish composer and ricordilab laureate Lisa Streich in on course for success: Her new ensemble work HIMMEL for the Collegium Novum Zürich saw a streamed world premiere, in 2022 her work will be rewarded the Heidelberger Künstlerinnenpreis, and as part of an exciting collaboration with the Lucerne Festival she created sounds for an extremely exclusive clock.

Korean composer Donghoon Shin will see a premiere with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra under Osmo Vänskä. At the same time, Musica Nova will present a number of works by Lisa Streich (another ricordilab laureate). Another focal point of the festival will be Australian composer Liza Lim, whose orchestral work Extinction Events and Dawn Chorus will be performed in Finland for the first time.

Last September, Ricordi Berlin selected three emerging composers for ricordilab 2019 to 2022. Since that time, Klartag, Shin and Streich have given us many exciting premieres, received new commissions and generated other news. Here is the latest on the ricordilab composers.

On 9 February, HÄNDEKÜSSEN, a new work by ricordilab laureate Lisa Streich, will be premiered at the Cologne Philharmonie.
